We were born from DIY WOMP- a group of artists, writers and musicians who use the friendly DIY ethos to create interesting and fun events for creatives of all kinds to get involved in.
DIY WOMP still runs nights, galleries, installations and gigs while helping to run Art and Things magazine.
Art and Things magazine aims to be entertaining, informative and to promote underexposed talent, to introduce our readers to fresh and interesting art, music and writing from people that they may not have heard of.
To engage with emerging talent and to uphold the WOMP philosophy of co-operation over exploitation.
Above all else we aim to be friendly, approachable and helpful both to our readers and the artists we work with.
Additionally, are open to having young/upcoming writers, photographers and graphic designers work as contributors for the magazine. If you’re looking for experience and something to put into your portfolio and you want to write, snap, illustrate or even design for us please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
